FFR stated that all they did on the white 818S at Open House was buff out and polish the gel coat.

Tony Z spent maybe 2 hours buffing the body with 3m rubbing and polishing compound. THATS IT, and yes we did that on purpose. these white gel coat panels are wicked pissa!

My wife said last night "so we're going to have two blue cars, and two white cars? That's dumb. I want you to get a blue one". lol. I told her if she wants it blue she can pay to paint it.

There good for gel coat and even decent for paint, but if you want show quality than you gotta paint it. But being a body guy I was impressed with there fiberglass work and the finish even on the unbuffed panels. I will rock the gel coat and when i grt her running 11's and riping my head off around corners, than I will seal and paint it with some wicked color scheme to make her finished.

Should come in Blue soon.........they said multiple color choices.

Has FFR indicated that they will allow preorder customers who can't live with white to hold their places in line until other colors are available? (Doesn't matter to me --I'll happily take white if that is the only choice -- But I'm sure it will matter to some)

I'm not into white but I'm not about to wait, so I didn't ask. I'm sure that they would do that...
