Ok so im still in th Pre-building stage looking at which parts I want on my list. I took some of ya'lls advice and got the "How to buld Cobra Kit Cars +Buying Used" book and its addicting and motivating. It makes me want to drop $30K right now and have it all waiting for me when I return home to start wrenching and stuff.

More motivating that Arnolds "Pumping Iron" movie!

:D

I keep this book, the manual and the computer in hot standby in the garage. The book really helps with the detail of the build.

Does anyone have a PDF/Electronic Copy of the Manual that came with their Kit available?

Hi
Factory Five sells the digital (pdf) copy in Roadster parts. Found it more useful than the regular manual at times. You can enlarge the pictures quite a bit before they distort. Helps with those WTF moments I seem to get when trying to make sense of something I'm reading.

If you're thinking about doing any original touches to your car to make it a bit more period-correct, get a copy of Colin Comer's book on the 50th anniversary of the Cobra - great vintage and current photos, as well as information on the cars, accessories, and replicas.

2x on Chris' recommendation. Lots of history, photos both in color and B&W. plus it provides great inspiration.

As I recall they will give you credit for the $10 when you buy your kit. I would only get the one for the complete kit version unless your dead set on a full donor build. Carl

I agree, get the complete kit one.

I am doing a non donor base kit build. So ended up scratching my head a couple times with the manual showing me donor related pictures.

PS. - You didn't expect us to pirate a copy of the digital manual right here at FFRs site, did you?:o

Pirate? No, but maybe pass on usefull motivation from a completed builder to a new builder that wants to get his hands dirty. Of course the users of the Manual would sign it and send it on to the next one showing a history of Garage Junkies.
