Please excuse my finger, but this is what I am putting in my HR. 383 ci/430 hp. A little less flashy than some and certainly less complicated. But I like it. It will have blue wiring as well.

I hate to tell you this but I see a major problem....

The distributor is on the wrong side of the engine!!

Great looking motor. Are you going to use the hood and side panels or leave them open?

My plan is open all the way, no hood or side panel, I may even ask FFR if they will delete them when I get my Phase 2 kit. As far as the distributor on the wrong side of the motor, I thought Ford put it on the wrong side? I have to admit, a front distributor would have made my life easier on this one. Had to do some creative things getting my crankcase evac hooked up becuase of clearance.

The fuel pump is also on the wrong side! Even with these "flaws" it WILL look great in a 33.

I choose the Gilmer for 2 reasons, one the cool factor, but that aside, cost...I hate regular v-belts, although I considered a dual arrangement. Serpentine assemblies from March and the like, even for only a water pump and alternator were crazy expensive, and I wanted to spend my money on other things. The Gilmer assy was around $100 on eBay.
