I've updated MK3BUILD.COM (and MK4BUILD.COM) to reflect the December 2012 FFR advisory about the Wilwood clutch pedal.

The new page is http://mk4build.com/manual/doku.php?id=upgrading_pedals

This new section describes how to modify the quadrant with the free FFR kit that was sent to appropriate Mk3 customers, and also install new Wilwood forged alumnium pedals (additional $80 upgrade cost not included in FFR kit) in a fully completed Mk3 Roadster.

This modification is relatively easy if the Mk3 in still in an early build stage, but quite difficult in a completed car due to limited space and those nasty http://www.ffcars.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif snap rings!

I've also significantly updated the section on master cylinders: http://mk4build.com/manual/doku.php?id=master_cylinders. This now includes details on the Wilwood remote balance bar adjuster that can be added at the same time as the quadrant/pedal retrofit.

The new pedals, BTW, really help with foot pad placement and, if you wish, can create additional space between the brake pedal and the accelerator.

Did you have any interference between either pedal and the frame at full travel?
