Anyone know a source for replacement seat covers(OEM upholstery) and foam cushions for the stock seats. If the donor seats are worn there must be away other than dealer replacements. Thanks

Some 818 builders will likely be selling their nice OEM WRX seats if they are upgrading to GTM, Kirkey or other fixed back racing seats. Though local pickup might not be as convenient for you in Hawaii and shipping might be expensive for fully framed seats.
This is another topic for parts trading in the Factory Five Forum.
Cheers!

I've found a few sources. Katz skins. Comes to mind for leather. I was looking for cloth or alcantara.. But most I've found are leather. Just google it

I've done my 91 BMW 325IC and one of my 3 Miata
the leather covers look great, it is easy to remove stock covers, buy some hog rings and a set of hog ring pliers. Take your time and you can do a quality job, an extra pair of strong hands can help at times... I usually toss in lunch to a friend who is wookie sized! The head rests of my BMW Recaros were very tight and needed strong hands.
You should be able to find suitable foam locally to rebuild any damaged areas
Leatherseats.com has excellent tech support if you have questions.
As an alternative your local upholstery shop[ could install them for you. I used the jobs as great winter projects when the cars were parked, a problem that you obviously don't have in Hawaii.
PS they will do custom colors combos, logos etc... If I'm comfortable in my 05 WRX seats I'll be doing something with a Factory 5 logo and perhaps a color combo
