Started with 2 identical NA wrecked Impreza wagons.
Busy autocrossing one every weekend and towed the other to the scrap yard yesterday.

Now for parts reconditioning. Can't wait for my kit.
If I picked up my kit using my donor as the tow vehicle. Would I be the first to do that?

Bob, I'm guessing YES! A cool idea.

How bad was the motor hit? In that pic it looks like the same damage a local one had. Did it crush the cam cover?

The wreck shattered the passenger side plastic cam sprocket. Bent about 1/2 the valves. Turn out to be a good opportunity to teach my 15 year old son how to do a valve job. Bottom of first picture you can see what left of the cam sprocket.
Cost me about $500 in parts plus 15k for my second 818 as he thinks the first one is his as he is doing most the manual labor.
A couple of pictures attached.

My wife says, I'm reliving my childood through my son. Between tubing, Jet skiing, ATVing and racing, I don't know how much my 54 YO body can take.
