Hi, Roger from Sweden here.
I plan to buy a 65 coupe kit as soon as I have finished building my new garage(probably next year).
One important issue before I buy is interior size. Like the title of the thread says: will I fit?
I am 6'1 cm tall and weigh approx 185 Lbs.
I will also need to use a helmet for track days.
greetings from Roger in Sweden, where summer has finally arrived.

Welcome to the forum Roger. Summer here in central California is 105 degrees F today and predicted to be 108 tomorrow. You should fit in the coupe (I have seen others much larger than you drive one) might want to have a removable steering wheel to help.

yes you can, the helmet may need the Gurney bubble though................

Your best bet would be to sit in a car. You are in luck. There is builder on this forum who lives in Stockholm Sweden. His user name is Gadden. Do an advanced search using his user id or send him a private Message ... PM.
Here is a link to his build blog.

Thank you for the fast replies!
Great to hear there is a coupe within reach from me. I live about 180 km's from Stockholm.
108 F ?!!!!! The summer here in the middle of Sweden is more "modest". For us 80-85 F is a hot summer day.

I'd think it would largely depend on the choice and mounting of the seat.

Yes, I have to scan the market for a suitable racing seat when the time comes. It is nice to be able to adjust the seat forward/backward but when height is an issue I guess there will be compromises.

You can also do the dropped floor mod to lower your seat.

Ah, I did not know there's such a mod, but obviously when you build the car yourself there are lot of opportunities.
I must do my homework.
This might be a non-existing problem as I have not yet been near a '65 coupe.
Right now very busy building a garage before winter arrives.
