Attaching Brake Duct Boots

Just wanted to check to see what you guys have used to attach the brake duct boots to the inside of the body(MKIV). I have the boots from Cobra Earl's Footbox venting kit and want to finish this off this weekend. My plan at this point is to use a good quality silicon caulking/adhesive to mount them to the inside. Tape them up and let them dry for a couple of days. Any issues with this?

Sounds good to me. On my MkII w/ different front body mount than yours I was able to kind of sandwich one side and then tighten the bolts. But it was still pretty flimsy so I did what you are thinking to the other three sides.
