My new radiator leaks.

Trying to get to first start after exactly 2 years.

Poured water in virgin radiator yesterday, and pin-hole leaks in bottom front. No crack or damage, just weeper. Bummer. Sent photos and email to Patti. How soon can I get a new radiator? I know how fragile these things can be, and have always treated it like a baby. Someone suggest stop-leak, but I'm not going to do that to a new radiator.

Just some bad luck, next one will be fine. Another bump in the road, par for the course. If it were easy everyone would do it!:) .........Steven

I had the same problem, but with my donor radiator after I had ridden the car three years. Yes, I had the original radiator (1989) reconditioned, but o matter. My point is that you are better off noticing a leak of this sort while you are still building and a radiator swap is relatively simple. Once the car is built and operating, changing a radiator is a bit like trying to stuff a baby back into the womb! This is a whole lot quicker and easier without the body in place. Good luck!
