I put in a LSD, installed the 2wd sleeve and put on the FFR supplied cover plate...Is it the 15th yet?????????

Is the any kind of seal or boot on the shifter shaft?

Shift shaft has a seal on it and the plate seals around the aluminum.

purple degreaser and a 5hp powerwasher do wonders. And getting the part early is a perk of being on the design team, have to make sure the production parts off the new laser cutter work perfectly.

I'm going to try a few flavors, first one has a OBX, 2nd one will have a Quaife, third will have a Cusco or KAAZ. The 818R that I drove had a Cusco

In the first round of testing neither car had a LSD and was obvious exiting the slow corner onto the straight. Second time out the same spot was the "play" corner and I was hanging the rear end out a foot with the power. In the Lotus' we race, they have Quaife LSD's and am really pleased at how they work and they have a lifetime warranty.

Minor? 6 spring changes, 2 dampening changes, 4 wing angle changes, 3 alignment changes and yes the car was significantly faster than the trim that it was tested in by R&T.

I am considering the OBX with the mod kit. Will this modification result in a reliable LSD, or is it just attempting to change a "pig's ear into a silk purse? Also, anyone know of video, or other directions for opening the 5 sp. trans. and changing the diff?

The reason that I will consider the OBX with modification over the others is simply because of noise. I hate the noises and clunking at low speeds with aggressive LSD's.
