I have dreamt( figuratively and literally) of having a Cobra most of my life.I was able to buy a kit from FFR in 1996 when my very understanding wife had an epiphany and realized we aren't going to live forever:o.The single most enjoyable project of my life of building hot rods, trucks and old Jeeps was building my Cobra. The build was almost as much fun as the first drive!
I've had this car for 15 years and it l excites me as much now when I fire it up as it did on Jan.1, 1997.It's safely tucked away for the winter but in 2 months my dream car will be out and ready to drive for another summer.I can't wait.
Every now and then I will go into the room in my garage where the Cobra is and just study the beautiful, flowing lines of the car and am amazed that I have finally realized one of my dreams.
Let's hear it for the Smith brothers for making this dream a reality for so many of us !!!!
