This is my first post here, so hi! I have been following this forum for years, and I have got to say the support and enthusiasim from the community has really made it easy for me to pull the trigger..

I ordered my kit today, I live in Canada (west coast) so had to jump through lots of govt hoops. Al from westerncanadacobras.com has been great to deal with!

My build will be fairly basic since my mechanical knowledge is minimal. I am going with the compete kit, 302/350 engine, t5 transmission, 4 link. I am going to build a carbon fibre dash, a gew custom mods, more to be determined once i get into it, not sure about colors yet. I have two excited boys, 12 and 9 to help me..they are beyond excited.

Wish me luck, and I know I will need the community here to help me so stay tuned...

I am so excited, kit won't be here until aug, So time to setup the garage..

Congratulations!!! Enjoy this ride and welcome to the fraternity of people who have built their own car - even a "basic build" is a great accomplishment and not something everyone can do.
