I have a Gen 1 Coupe complete kit with PBR front brakes and the hard copy build manual. Are there any instructions for installing the PBR calipers?

Also, are the two Wilwood master cylinders that are supplied with the complete kit the same? In other words, either can be plumbed for front/rear brakes.

There is nothing special about the install. Bolt them in and if everything lines up and nothing is leaking you are fine.

Just as an FYI: it has been FFRs practice to provide supplimental instructions for special projects (options usually). An example is the FFR hood hinge set. So if you need the instructions give FFR a buzz to see if they are available. It's hard to publish very specific directions for things like brake sets when there are so many combinations out there.
Good luck,

WEK.

All's well. I installed them a couple years ago so when I wanted to swap pads I went looking for the instructions...guess there weren't any. Anyway, as Gordon said...nothing special...two bolts and they dropped off. The curios challenge was finding a wrench/socket to get in on the top bolt. I ended up grinding down a cheapo Harbor Freight socket to clear the bolt.

Hi Chris,

I think the reason you don't have those is because most of the Coupe manual is still based on the donor-based build. I can email you a link to the Complete Mk4 build manual, which is very similar and will show those elements.

Hi Jason. Does your note apply to the latest coupe? I got my complete kit in January 2013 and any extra information would be great.
Thanks!
