Starting to look at carpet for my Mk4 (#7591) and in looking the various pieces of FFR supplied carpet, I am having a very (VERY) difficult time determining "which is which".

The inventory sheet for my Box #7a (MK4 Interior Trim/Carpet) pretty clearly lists all of the applicable "FFR numbers and a Part Name" ... e.g. #15050 - LH Footbox Floor, Outside/Front, #15053 RH - Outside/Front FootBox Wall - but there's no apparent way to translate the FFR Part# or the Part Name to the actual pieces of carpet ... cause the individual pieces of carpet have no identification marks or #'s or anything.

Any chance there's an available "cheat sheet" that shows the shape of each piece of carpet with it's corresponding FFR# and/or Part Name?

If "Yes", I can I get one? (There doesn't seem to be one in the Build Manual)

If "No" - suggestions on how to correlate individual pieces of carpet to locations in the cockpit will be REALLY appreciated.

Simply laying the pieces of carpet in what look like the appropriate areas of the cockpit hasn't worked for me ....

Thanks

Lynn

NOTE: Adding such a sheet of carpet identication information would be a wonderful addition to the Build Manual .... hint, hint, hint! :):)

When I built my MKIII, I started with the largest pieces and worked towards the smaller ones. This made it easier for me to visualize where they might fit.

My MKIII build manual has a "cheat sheet" in Appendix A - Templates Roadster Carpet Diagram. No page designated but after pg 198. It has a graphic depiction of the carpet peices laid out flat. If you use that, I think you can figure it out. But I agree that doing it just by looking at the little peices is pretty frustrating unless you are a jig saw puzzle master. Good luck, WEK.

Nevermind ... after reading the note about checking the appendix of the Manual, I did that and found the needed carpet shape listing.

Now how do I get to that "embarassed' emoticon? ... 'cause I am!

Thanks
