Hi guys. Do we need to save the front and rear swaybars from our Subaru donor to use on the 818?

Save the rear, it will be used on the front of the 818.

Jim - Great talking to you at the Open House. I have used the new (beta) Disassembly manual to determine what else I need to have for my 818. I got an 03 Wagon WRX donor pallet from AJW and have several things I now have to get. Looking at sway bars, I see there are rears for both the sedan and wagon. Can either be used? Thanks!

The wagons and standard imprezas have different diameter bars than the wrx but all of them fit the chassis the same. Which one is best will depend on driver preference and how the car is set-up but picking up a couple of different bars from guys who have upgraded is a nice way to fine tune the car. The thicker the bar the more the car will understeer.

My donor is a 2007 WRX wagon. If the sedan and wagon rear sway bars are different, can you tell me which is thicker?

Rear Sway bars in donor.
My 06 2.5i NA came with a 13mm bar
the 06 2.5 turbo's come with a 17mm
the 06 2.5 STI come with a 20mm bar
In 06 the sedan's and wagons were the same. the bar changes based on turbo or NA.
I have a 22mm Whiteline bar I'm going to use. It has three holes for adjustability.

Is it plagiarism if I copy the suspension settings of FFR 818r?
