818 transmission

I am trying to do as much pre-assembling before I get my 818 kit next year. Do I need to wait to get the supplied transfer case modification from you guys, or can I go ahead and disassemble the trans/transfer case now? I want to install a LSD anyway.

I'm not an FFR tech, but I've played with more than my fair share of Subaru Transmissions.

if you'd like you can Pull the Transfer case off the transmission, split the trans and install the LSD. reassemble the trans, and put the transfer case section back on, without rear plate, center differential, or rear output shaft. then when you get your kit you can slide in the Coupler, and bolt on the plate.

Hi there you can take the transfer case off ,and split the case for the LSD ,once you get the kit you can used the plate that we give you with the two wheel drive coupler ..Tony@ffr
