We pulled apart a bug eye yesterday and I set a GoPro on the wall. Started at 930 and finished at 1700 with an hour lunch.

Wayne,
I hope that is your donor. It would be sick if you were just doing that for kicks! Thanks, WEK.

Wish it was true that I need one. Truth is, haven't finished the roadster and I definitely do not need that kind of distraction before numero uno is done! However, if you get a call some day, don't be surprised. Good luck on your enterprise. WEK.

Thanks for the vid. At first I thought you had done it by yourself and thought "man, he took it apart in 6.5 hours? Crazy!".

LOL, the other guy is from my paintball team. He's just starting A&P school so it's good experience for him and with three Hitachi cordless impacts with 10mm, 12mm and 14 mm sockets on them, it goes fast. Donor #3 comes apart tomorrow :D

What are you charging for a donor pallet?

The donor pallet kits will be based on 2.0T, 2.5NA, 2.5T, mileage etc. I'll post the Donor Packs based on costs but they will start at around $3200. All get compression checks, ones that don't pass get heads pulled and checked. I also check the idler pulleys, one of them is half the diameter of the others and has been sub par on 2 of the 3 donors since it spins twice as fast.

When I did my video, I think I did one photo every 10 seconds and played them back at .2 seconds per frame? I started my video like you did, maybe one every 30 seconds? It made me jerk around on frame. The 10 second shot takes a lot more photos and takes longer to compile the video, but you can see yourself doing more things and when it plays back, it looks like you're running around, not skipping. Play the beginning of my vid (in my sig) and you'll see how the first 20 seconds or so is skipping, then it smooths out after I changed settings. I think it's more comical when it's fast.

Mine was done with 10 seconds between shots and .2 seconds per frame like yours. I must move faster :D

I'm having a custom made Electromotive TEC-S for the Sube coil on plug set up and custom car harness for the 818's. It will plug into the engine harness connectors. You can even hook it up to an AIM, Racepak or Race Technology dash. The kit weighs 16 lbs and is fully lap top adjustable and will come loaded with a program for the stock engine. Easy to lay in the car and you get to not wire diet the OEM harness :D

It will be a package with TEC-S ECU, needed sensors, car harness with integrated Electromotive harness, with optional race dash. The race dashes are available with GPS, lap timing, track mapping and other really cool features. I will have pricing by June 15th on the package.

So the Tec-S works with the stock crank trigger?

I am figuring a couple grand at least for the whole setup and cluster. It is cool and does work great, but I think I am staying with stock harness and cluster due to price point. Me and a friend and other local tuners have cut the subie harness down with success and it was not all that bad. Don't get me wrong if I had the extra cash to spend i would go for the Tec-s. Wayne nice work on showing what's out there.

It would be easy to go crazy with cool mods such as this (and plenty of other). Thanks Wayne for another VERY cool part! :)
