Was literally 20 minutes from doing the state inspection of the car and found that I have no parking/running or dash lights. These all worked previously, but all of a sudden not. I still have headlights (low and high beam), turn signals, hazards. I've pulled the dash off and checked wiring, and all looks to be in order. MY guess is that the headlight switch went bad for some reason. How can I test that switch to see if power is flowing to the dash and tail lights? I've hooked my meter to the power out on the switch (I think the appropriate posts for the tail lights and dash lights), and ground and get nothing. So my assumption is power is not flowing through the switch to these outputs. Again, I know there is power going in as I do have headlights. Any thoughts, and hopefully a suggestion for a quick fix, would be appreciated. I'm trying to get this done today so that I can try and reschedule the inspection for tomorrow. Might be impossible if I have to order a new switch though...

Found the issue. Broken connection at the switch. Repaired and it works. Now to get it all back together....

Did the ring terminal on the Ron Francis wiring harness that attaches to the ignition switch break?

If you can pull the switch it's an easy test. Pull switch to "parking" see if you continuity from the +12 and the parking lights spade switch. Pull to "lights" and test for same. If no for "parking" then it's the switch.

The power in from the fuse block was the line that was broken. Just ran a new line. Problem fixed. Figured it out when I found no power coming at the first pull of the switch...
