4.6 engine change

I just bought a donor car off eBay. Didn't notice it was a Continental until after I made the bid. Is it possible to make that engine a rear wheel drive?

not a pro by any means, but I believe oil circulation would be a big problem moving from transverse (front wheel drive) to longitudinal (rear wheel drive) engine mounting.

The continental engine is a different block with a different bell housing bolt pattern to bolt to a transaxle instead of a transmission. Sorry, but it's probably more work and expense to try and use it than find another one.

Contact the selller, ebay will let him off the hook and he can relist, you both just have to volunteerily cancel the transaction.
