My client would very much like to have air bags in his GTM. Any direction, suggestions or advice on doing this, or referral to someone who has installed these before? He's looking to build 150+ of these kits in Brazil, and is adamant that the car have this safety feature. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Russ,
Installing air bags would be a significant undertaking, so you'd probably want to contract a qualified engineering firm to incorporate them. Airbag systems need to account for the rate at which various areas of the car compress in a collision, and they also need to consider the position of the occupants to ensure they are deploying at a time when they will actually prevent injury rather than cause further injury.
