So things seem like they are moving right along, then BAM - something doesn't fit.
Note that I have the rack pushed as far to the drivers side as possible, but the bolt won't fit through the passenger side mount.

My first impulse was to file the mount on the passenger side a bit to get the bolt through, but then I thought it may make more sense to file the drivers side instead.
The logic being that the drivers side is designed with some space for adjustment and by keeping the passenger side fixed, I won't end up with play in the steering rack.
Does this make sense?
Thanks,
H

Mine was also off a bit. I did file some to get the bolt to fit but I can not remember which. I did end up using the breeze offset bushings because my rack was also off center a bit.

Give Mark at Breeze a call. It does look like you could make it work by using his offset bushings.

They would also take any play out of the steering rack because the bushings won't flex at all.

I agree w/ making your slot wider rather than ending up w/ two slots. I also agree w/ Dan's comment about the Breeze bushings.
