Dad just told me that our Factory Five Roadster is ordered and will be built on 6/15, then on the truck on its way to us!

So excited! We are going to have so much fun putting this together! :D

There'll be lots of custom touches, like so many of the others' roadsters.

First big project together!

Same recipie as mine! I'm 15 months in and about a month from first start... Enjoy. What I can tell you is that to my pleasant surprise I have not run into any significant issues during the build thus far. That is saying a lot, these kits are very well engineered.

That's good to hear!

I'm a little worried about the wiring. Can't wait, though! LOL.

Oh ya, forgot that we are doing the complete Willwood package too - and hydraulic clutch.

If you are using the Ron Francis harness and the FFR Vintage Gauges I can send you volumes on wiring. I have one spreadsheet that pulls it all together (even which pin # on the Molex plugs and terminal strip I used). Its actually not that bad.

Rich and I are finally making progress. A health issue side-tracked progress for 2 months, but we are drilling panels, and meeting local roadster owners and vendors. We made the decision to drill the attached panels in place so they can go to the powder coater in a single batch. We liked the 2" spacing; goodness, there are a lot of rivets. The fun continues!

Hi Kevin - I'm building my Mk4 with my 15 yr old, and we're currently trying to tackle the Ron Francis wiring harness. Would love to get your spreadsheet / notes please!
