Photo 24 of 153 from Bad to the Bone 33HR

While waiting for the 2019 racing season to start I decided to complete the install of my nitrous system. Of course as soon as it was ready to test we get hit with two snow storms and sub freezing temps that won't allow the ice and snow to melt.

This is a Nitrous Express Stage 6 plate system capable of adding 300 horsepower with a single stage. It's operated with a sophisticated progressive controller.

The engine makes 550 sea level HP and with a 100-shot that works out to ~650-HP.

Probably won't use more than 150-shot as the torque in 1st gear is within just a couple thousand lb ft of the rating of my 31-spline axles. Would have to go to a spool and 35-spline axles to feel comfortable with more than 150-shot.

This engine was built with a GM truck block so ~700 HP and more than 700 lb ft of torque is really uncharted territory for my experience with a GM block. I've read of folks running a GM block with that much (drag race only) but don't personally know anyone that has and got away with it.
