Photo 54 of 153 from Bad to the Bone 33HR

When I first built the roll cage I made sure I had clearance between the door bars and the inner door panels. A year later and the body has moved (shrunk?) and I had an interference fit that wouldn't allow me to adjust the door. So I had to remove a portion of the inner door skin. If I was going to modify the door I was going to open it up to make access to the hinges and latch mechanisms easier. Originally, the hinges were a pain to adjust and now I have easy access. I can even remove the entire door hinge mechanism for paint without loosening the hinges and having to start over with the door alignment.
