The RacePak gauge panel mounted on the FFR removable dash. Yes the dash is removable by turning five 1/4-turn self ejecting fasteners but I decided to make an access panel that would be easier to get to the wiring during tech inspection. The half-round aluminum panel that the RacePak mounts on covers an inspection opening and is held on by only two screws making access to the line locks and electrical much easier than removing the entire dash. The NHRA rules are very specific about some of the wiring being identified and tracable so the tech inspector can ensure compliance with the rules.
