Old School is Cool: that's a 385CI SBC setting on my run-in stand. 551HP plus 150 shot for approximately nine seconds at a time. Comp Cams & DynoSym5 modeling programs claims corrected power of 702HP at 6,000 RPM & 750TQ @ 3,000 RPM safely below 300 PSI BMEP. If this model is close it will potentially push this car into the 9's on just the motor and deep 9's with the spray and still run pump gas on the street. Anyway, that's the plan. It will be fun to creep up on this power goal and see how it works out.
