There is also a 300-shot Nitrous Express plate system on the engine that can add from zero to 300 horse power ramped by time or RPM. So the power can be varied from 800 to 1100 HP depending on need. And with a 6000 stall converter the engine produces lots of torque and HP concentrated in the working RPM range.
The 627 lb ft of torque produced by the engine is multiplied by the converter and gear reduction resulting in the axles seeing 10,036 lb ft distributed between the left and right sides (and significantly more when on nitrous).
