New engine on the test stand. Getting it ready to fire and check for proper operation before installing it in the car. Better to catch problems now while it's easier to fix than in the car. If you notice the mop in the photo -- 1st problem was a leaky radiator hose connection.
Don't have the mufflers made yet but decided to fire it and make sure it runs. This engine seems twice as loud as the old one so I changed gears and welded up some inserts. We'll try again tomorrow and maybe I won't need ear plugs anymore.
