New Fuel Cell. The huge 18-gallon fuel cell I started with required too much minimum fill to keep the pickup covered and left ~4-gallons of unusable fuel in the tank when empty. I searched for a new fuel cell around 6-8 gallons but couldn't find one to fit. So, like so many other things on this build I had to fabricate my own custom design. This is an 8-gallon aluminum cell that has less than a 1/2-gallon of unusable fuel left in the sump. I built in rollover protection and even check valves that will prevent fuel flow if all the hoses get ripped off the cell.
